The share of population of people having a migration background in Hallein with 17% is extremly high. The history tells us that the reason is related with Hallein as a industrial city. Most of the people origin is Turkey. A lot of them live here in the second generation and are offically Austrians. Associations and governmental facilities are trying to work on the integration. But how are the citizens of Hallein handling the situation? They become seperated in two worlds with two different cultural backgrounds.
