Nov 9th 1989, East Berlin. Pianoplayer Stefan is distracted from playing in the bar by the circumstances of the future of his country and the longing for his wife. His good friend Benny, the barkeeper, tries to cheer him up, but ignites a debate about socialsm and the GDR State Security. A liberating call from outside isolates Stefan completely. The border to the western world is open. Stefan want’s his wife back, but not by the price of capitalism.
