Our motto is odd, odder, at the best: The Trashnight. Trash actually means nothing different than „garbage“ or „litter“, nicely said also „kitsch“. Concerning film, this little charming category normally comprises low-budget productions with undemanding contents which exactly because of this, appeal to people and in the end, they work like a charm – so off the mark that they actually hit it. Films that are out of line, that despite their strong motivation and ingenious ideas did ultimately not make it. Films in which the devil is not only in the detail and in which the reasonable is absurd. We get you the oddest and the most absurd, the most blurred and flashiest from the bottom of the deck, and we want to prove that these reels of film also have cinema potential. At the end of the screening, the audience will vote for the winner of the Trashbobby.
