The Filmfestival’s concept is simple: films by students shall be presented to the public. The program contains exclusively films that were realized under non-commercial circumstances by students of the Filmacademy Vienna as well as by students from all over the world.

As every year the main jury will award the best films with the "Golden Bobby" just as prices in kind in the course of an awards show.

This year for the first time there will also be two workshops. For 10 Euros only interested parties can register to "Short Film Dramaturgy" and "Marketing of Short Films".

Naturally the festival will begin with an opening reception and end in an appropriate framework at the closing party. With this we would also like to state a thankyou to our long-lasting and faithful sponsors and partners.

The festival will be opened up by Nina Kusturicas film "Auswege" which has very successfully been screened at Diagonale 03 in Graz / Austria and will celebrate its premiere in Vienna.

Two awards of the Diagonale 03 went to Filmacademy Vienna Students; both films will also be screened at the Filmacademy Festival.
