Cinemas    This years Filmfestival is represented in two cinemas. Built in 1960, it exudes generosity and the self-confidence of a classic premiere cinema in the inner city. Situated at the Ringstrasse across Stadtpark and at the foot of Palais Coburg, the Gartenbaukino has over the years emerged to be an institution of urban cinema culture. Still carried on by Künstlerhaus, it serves next to its commercial screening operations with demanding international feature films and well-known filmfestivals, again reinforced as communication stage for artists and for film audience interested in arts.
